CNY at Leicester Square

On the 1st day of New Year, we decided to get down to Leicester Square to feel the festivity. There is a full day of performances at Trafalgar Square, including a Dragon dance.

Its the year of the PIG!

London Chinatown. It was so crowded we nearly got squashed.

Chinese New Year Eve

This is our spread for New Year's Eve ... some of the dishes are compliments from Qin Qi, so we had a taste of China and Singapore dishes. Clockwise from left, Sausage Rice, Chilli Prawn, Chicken, Pork Ribs, Grill Salmon, Stir fry Broccoli, Pak Chek Gai, Black Fungus in Vinegar and WanTon Soup.

Valentine's Day

We decide to celebrate this year's VD on the weekend.

Lunch at Song Que Cafe, a vietnamese restaurant near SingTel Europe/Hackney area. Highly recommended - the mix starter for 2, pho and vermicelli.

And on the actual day itself, I have a surprise celebration again!
