My XXth Birthday

Yes, I am again a year older ...

This year, there is just me and WaiMeng and our little chocolate cake. But its yummy from Patisserie Valerie. Must go there for afternoon tea one of these days.

And in the afternoon, we had a feast of Sushi at GILI GULU. Its a all you can eat sushi buffet for GBP13.90 each. Very VFM by London standard. Between WaiMeng and I, we cleaned off 24 plates ... do you see the chubby ME.

And on the next day, we had visitors - YangFong with my "spicy prezzies"

Home-style Haircut

WaiMeng thinks haircut in london is too expensive. About 10GBP (30 SGD) compared to his S$10 in 10 minute haircut in S'pore. So we decided to do it on our own. Bought the hair clipper set from Argos which came with 6 combs, 2 ear styling comb, scissors, hairclips and brush. And also a hairstyling guide for amateurs unfortunately it is in VCR format and we do not have one.

So after studying the haircut guide book ... hee hee too late to chicken out dear

20 minutes later ... Viola, I found another sideline!

More Food by cuisine

This week we decided to go British so from left English Breakfast, baked chicken with country vegetables and lamb cutlets in red wine sauce.

Something Japanese - Teriyaki chicken and Oyako Don

And then we realised we missed the spicy S'pore food - Tikka Massala

And of course we still can go without the Oriental basis - Good old soup, beansprouts, fried rice and fried noodles

I bet WaiMeng did not really miss Singapore food.
